Eton, founded by King Henry VI in 1440, is located in Windsor on the River Thames and is recognised as the most globally renowned independent boarding school. It is the alma mater of Prince William and Prince Harry. Eton has produced 20 British prime ministers, including Boris Johnson; 36 Victoria Cross winners; military generals and many other British political leaders as well as several famous actors. Of the approximately 250 graduates from Eton, 70% go on to the world's most prestigious universities each year, with over 30% studying at Oxford and Cambridge.
Eton College Future Leaders Summer Course is designed for students aged 12-17 years old. The course aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of the philosophy of British education and the essence of British culture through a two-week condensed programme of study at Eton College, one of the world’s most renowned boarding schools.
Through a series of unique programmes, academic seminars and special Oxbridge University admissions Q&A sessions, students will enhance their international outlook and become the well-rounded individuals that society needs in the future. Whilst Eton is an All Boys School in term time, this programme provides girls with the unique opportunity to experience life at Eton as well.

History
During Eton Future Leaders Summer Course, students will learn about history in a unique way. Take Hampton Court Palace for example: the teacher will introduce Hampton Court Palace and its history to the students through pictures, videos and songs, then take them on an actual tour of Hampton Court Palace. This makes their learning relatable, enhancing the students' imaginations and ability to recall and reflect on the experience as a whole.
Eton Lectures
These lectures cover a wide range of areas including music, leadership, sport, creativity and more. Students will gain an in-depth understanding across a range of subjects helping to lay a solid foundation for future learning and growth. Eton invites a range of notable external speakers for these lectures. All of whom are connected to the college in some way.
Leadership Course
This will cover creative thinking, resilience, communication skills, developing a growth mindset, communication and presentation skills, and teamwork. The programme aims to unlock the potential of students and develop the key qualities they need to become well-rounded leaders in the future.
Academic Seminars
Academic Seminars are a place for students to unleash their ideas. Through three themed debates and a special Oxbridge University admissions Q&A session, students will tackle a range of topics in depth and will be inspired by their peers. The aim is to stimulate interest in learning and practise the ability to express ideas in a structured way.
Sports Activities
A variety of traditional British sports will be played in small groups. They will also go punting at Dorney Lake, which was acquired by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games as a rowing venue in 2012. Dorney Lake Rowing Centre is crucial part of Eton College and is a unique opportunity for students to partake in sports at an international standard venue with excellent waters and views.
Boys and girls are accommodated in secure boarding houses with shared bathrooms. Each house has at least one TV room and there is usually a games room too. Laundry is done for the students once a week.
All our staff are trained to the highest standards, and supervision ratios are always kept high. We operate a pastoral care system for all students, ensuring they are safe and secure and enjoying their courses.
Parents can contact their children by telephone during free time after dinner.
